Is it mandetory to tag fire rated door and frame an d if the doors are double leaf how the fire rateted tags to iunstall
All I can say based on the information, if the door is protecting an opening in a fire barrier that was required by a building safety code such as IBC, NFPA 5000, and/or NFPA 101, the door must meet the degree of protection required by the building safety codes. The door and frame must identified by labels required by the building and safety codes.
For the installation requirements codes refer to is NFPA 80, Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives as modified by the building code requirements This standard regulates the installation and maintenance of assemblies and devices used to protect openings in walls, floors, and ceilings against the spread of fire and smoke within, into, or out of buildings. It is not the intent of this standard to establish the degree of protection required or to constitute the approval of any product. These are determined by the AHJ.
Your question needs a lot of discovery of the facts before a meaningful answer can be found.
Both doors are required a label, on each, showing that they are rated.
OHHH I am not an engineer, so you can discount my reply if you want, and I cannot do math. Click on this profile cdafd . I have no confidence. Seems foolish or stupid.
