I have two questions:
1. How often should you replace batteries in diesel engines has fire protection installations.
2. Does NFPA allow connecting sections of sprinkler systems?
1. Batteries should be tested annually with a battery analyzer or at least a multimeter. If voltage drops below 9 V then it must be replaced. Electrolyte level must also be checked weekly and refilled as necessary. Good batteries should last many years.
2. Technically it does not prohibit them, but it shouldn't be done unless it's absolutely necessary.
