Does a garment need to be labeled with a UL cert to be considered FR by a regulatory body? Example: an oil and gas worker said that the first thing their safety inspectors look for is an FR label on their outerwear. Does anybody know if that is a UL or other certifying body mark or can the garment just state that it is FR and have fabric content that is FR i.e. Kevlar, Nomex, aramid, modacrylic...?
Any insight here would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
