225.30(F) Is being shown as new. (F) does not exist in my 2017 nec?
Where are you getting the information that there is a 225.30(F)? There is no subsection (F) in the 2017, for that article.
2017 IAEI Analysis of NEC Changes
Mike Holt also mentions it in his 2017 NEC summary of changes document...
In addition I see it here in NFPA code making panel 4 memorandum and meeting minutes
The associations and people that write those books tend to write them way in advance, when the changes take place at the meetings (as it happens). It's a couple of years process for a new code to be born, and maybe that particular code got axed somewhere down the line. Let me do some more research, thanks for posting.
Thank you so much. I spoke to director of education at IAEI. You are exactly correct. They had to get the book out in a certain amount of time right after the second draft code panel reviews. He said 99% of the time they are correct and this happens to be the one percent of the time. That got axed in CAM 70-3. Last minute. Thank you so much for your help and your valuable time.

You are more than welcome. Just to follow up, here is the reply that I got from NFPA:
"The First revision for this change (225.30(F)) was accepted based on the public input. A public comment was submitted (PC 793) at the second draft stage to address an identifiable part of the first revision. This resulted in the new section being deleted by the CMP.
A certified amending motion (CAM 70-3) was submitted to be brought to the floor of the annual meeting. At this time the CAM passed the floor vote and the new section was again in the code. However, all CAM's have to go back to the CMP for ballot vote and it failed ballot which means the code reverts back to original text of which there was none.
The result being that that section never made its way into the code even though some code change document illustrated the change based on the floor vote and FR."
You are the man! Thank you
