We have a Type I-B Hotel project that uses VTAC units installed inside a vertical non-combustible concealed space, with an screwed-in-place access panel used for service and return air.
We did not show any fire sprinklers according to 18.104.22.168.1.1; 22.214.171.124.2; and 126.96.36.199.2.1.
Does this concealed space require a fire sprinkler head?
Although it has no-door; could this concealed space be considered a closet?
I am attaching the VTAC unit cut-sheet; and the hotel room floor plan for reference.
