We have a Type I-B Hotel project that uses VTAC units installed inside a vertical non-combustible concealed space, with an screwed-in-place access panel used for service and return air.
We did not show any fire sprinklers according to 126.96.36.199.1.1; 188.8.131.52.2; and 184.108.40.206.2.1.
Does this concealed space require a fire sprinkler head?
Although it has no-door; could this concealed space be considered a closet?
I am attaching the VTAC unit cut-sheet; and the hotel room floor plan for reference.
