Is it possible to have a 323 PSI pressure fire network? This pressure goes against the norm for a residential building ?. If possible what conditions should have the accessories and pipe?
Yes it is possible to have a fire service main with that working pressure if underground piping is listed for such pressures (some ductile iron pipes have a 350 PSI pressure class) or aboveground steel piping is used. Fittings and accessories must also be listed for the expected working pressure.
Thanks for your answer. It is for a fire-fighting network in a high-rise residential building. The fire pump is 750gpm 323psi shutoff pressure: 398psi.
