I am looking for the paragraph in the NFPA that helps protect the fuel zone liquids in plastic containers by means of FOAM. Without using water.
NFPA 30 is the standard that deals with flammable liquids. The standard does not have any particular hazard that requires it to be extinguished by foam only. For the hazard you described, NFPA 30 provides both criterias (foam and water).
Besides foam is usually 97% water + air.
Thank you very much, I found the information very useful.
