Is liposuction considered to be an invasive procedure, as defined in Article 517 - Critical Care (Category 1) Space?
A quick search on the "Definition" of Invasive Procedures gave me this for you to think about my friend.
"invasive procedure listen (in-VAY-siv proh-SEE-jer)A medical procedure that invades (enters) the body, usually by cutting or puncturing the skin or by inserting instruments into the body."
Based on the explanation given in the Informational Note to the definitions in 517.2 I would be forced to agree that indeed Critical Care (Category 1) as defined would include liposuction. Sadly, I know of stories where folks have died during this "invasive procedure".
What are your thoughts fella?
If you look at NFPA 220.127.116.11; It looks like liposuction would fit the definition of Invasive Procedure.
Thanks for the nugget!
