Does attaching sprinkler main to structure rigidly omit bracing?

1. There is no roof and sprinkler feed main had to be run along structural wall on knee brackets or using pipe clamps to feed a detached portion of a building.

2. Fancy architectural building with ceiling tight to beams, beam penetration for all sprinkler mains, lines, arm-overs. Roof not strong enough to withstand sprinkler brace loads.

In cases like these since the sprinkler piping is almost one with the structure and it is tight to the deck and not hanging below, doesnt the chance of moving independently reduce greatly?

Can seismic bracing be omitted in both cases or is it just the first and not second?

Are there any plans to address situations like this in the future editions?
