is a discharge test requested for the fm200 and inert gas system?
No. But a enclosure integrity test is required.
and for CO2 system, this test is required? so why for FM200 not required?
The discharge test is required for CO2 systems. Regarding why not for clean agents, that is something that should be asked to the technical committee that votes on the standard.
In general, it is not required to conduct an actual discharge test for the clean agent as the agent is very expensive. NFPA 2001 (2018) states A.72.3.4 A discharge test is generally not required.
My own experience with local authorities during site acceptance tests - you are required to do the room integrity test as per NFPA requirements. Then you need to conduct at site an integrated test (including all detectors, control panels and beacons) but without the discharge solenoid valve installed. Show to the AHJ that all the detectors detect, the beacons light up, the signals sent and the cylinders are in place and pressurized - but no actual discharge is required to be done.
