My understanding is that OSHA regulates safety issues at and for the workplace and employees. So, those regulations/standards don't address the manufacturers of EEEs but rather the employers.
I'm rather concerned with US-federal electrical safety requirements analogous with the EU-Low Voltage Directive that addresses manufacturers. The NEC is an example, whereby it is not a federal US-requirement...
