In NFPA 59A is there a 50 ft distance requirement from sloped LNG trenches (underneath LNG piping) to closest source of ignition such as generators, Electrical MCC equipment or Thermal oxidizers? Could not find any direct interpretation for this but I was told that that might be an interpretation that some had.
Are paths of travel for LNG trenches considered part of drainage system for 50 ft requirements?
Also, if a fired equipment is used to heat the process gas, how does the 50 ft for fired heaters apply to that?
Lastly, I am new to the forum and not sure if this is the right place to post this question. I picked the closest I felt for posting the question. Please help me in the right spot if this is incorrect.
Thank you for taking time to review/answer my question.
