I need some advice on determining if an attic space is considered a "concealed space" or not and when it requires sprinkler protection.
There are so many interpretations of what attics are considered.
My situation is a hospice care facility with a combustible, non accessible attic.
I figured that it is a combustible concealed space in a hospice no less so there should be sprinkler coverage in the attic.
I am running into issues with a client who does not understand why we need to have sprinkler coverage in the attic.
I am in Ontario so the OBC 2012 dictates along with NFPA 13.
Could someone please just clarify for me if this attic requires sprinkler coverage.
