How to design the "Dirt Trap" expressed in NFPA2001?

Hello, everyone, good day! As the new provisions as NFPA 2001 (2018) stated as follows, I  have two comfusions regarding when designing, firstly,how many locations should be arranged for pipe network system, for each main pip? does the branch pipe need or not? please see the attachment.1; Secondly. could someone show the exactly example about "a tee with a capped nipple", is it the same meaning of show in attachment.2? Thanks in advance.

4.2.1.6 Dirt Trap. A dirt trap consisting of a tee with a capped nipple, at least 2 in. (50 mm) long, shall be installed at the end of each pipe run.
