There is a 24VDC LED light bar and a door switch in my enclosure which turns the light on/off depending if the door is open or closed respectively. My question is does the light need its own dedicated circuit breaker or can they share power (protected by circuit breaker) with other 24VDC control/signal circuits? NFPA 79 15.2.3 states local lighting circuits shall be separately protected with overcurrent protection. Is this referring to lighting for the work cell and not for lighting in the control enclosure?
Thanks in advance for your help.
