Definition of animal housing facility per NFPA 101 is "an area of a building or structure where animal are fed ,rested, worked, exercised, treated, exhibited or used for production "
and Industrial occupancies is " An occupancy whrere products are manufactured or in which processing , assembling, mixing, packaging ,finishing or repair or operations are conducted "

Now, a hatchery building which is basically production of chicks would be classified as industrial occuapancy because occupants are exposed to range of processes and machines or would it be classified as animal housing "

PS: The local codes need sprinkler system for industrial occupancy and no sprinklers for animal housing
