This question pertains to a skilled nursing facility in Northern California.
We clean out our dryers and vents once a month. We recently signed up for TELS, a software program specific for this industry distributed by Direct Supply. The sign up process has different inspections/logs and frequency recommendations for them. The TELS system is recommending cleaning of the dryer vents once a week by maintenance (housekeeping cleans filter every load). What does the NFPA have to say about this? I looked but I cant find anything. I want to keep us in compliance but do not want to add hours of labor cleaning the dryer once a week unless required or needed for fire safety.
Thanks so much for the help on this and past inquires!
