The July 2020 edition of Professional Safety Journal (page 10) discusses a current study by Mauge-Lewis and researchers regarding growing concerns over possible adverse health effects of AFFF (Aqueous Film-Forming Foams).  According to the article exposure to high concentrations of AFFF may result in damage to liver cells and that the toxicity comes from PFAS.
