Good Day

I need an explanation of the following:

1. How the system will automatically knowns that the reasons for the starting of the pump is present or not? is it based on the closure of all valves and the pressure will increase to churn pressure?

2. if the system known that the reasons for starting the pump is no more present, then the maintenance of churn pressure for 10 min will allow the automatic shutdown or not?

Please read 10.5.4.2 of NFPA 20-2019
