Electrical pump shall be listed and Diesel pump shall be listed. But why Juki pump no need to be listed. And NFPA need Juki pump is 1 % of leakage or 1 % of fire pump or minimum sprinkler Gpm
At first, I want to mention you that NFPA 20 does not mention 1 % of leakage or 1 % of fire pump or minimum sprinkler Gpm rather it says that
So, it does not say concretely that it shall be 1%.
And regarding the question, you can get your answer simply looking at the term referred by NFPA 20. Jockey pump is referred as Pressure Maintenance or Make-Up Pump. Fire pump shall be listed to ensure the reliability during fire incident but jockey pump is not for the incident of fire. As the name referred, it is only for "MAKE-UP" or "PRESSURE MAINTENANCE". That is why it is not required to be listed.
Hope you get the answer.
