I have an elevated platform. A LARGE and very LONG elevated platform.
The primary exit is on one end. The other end has a fire escape ladder that goes... UP... to another platform. Then it goes DOWN another ladder to a third platform at the same elevation as the first platform. Then we see the exit door (discharge).
I seem to remember a requirement that the path of egress cannot have a reversal of vertical direction. Is that a real requirement? Or am I just having a faulty memory?
